God is calling us hypocrites as well. That’s what Isaiah 29:13 is describing. We pretend to love Him with all our heart, but we’ve boiled the relationship down to man-made rules directing us to be ‘good.’ Such hypocrisy!
Only doing ‘good’ insults God. It probably irritates Him as well. Frustration as well? Sure.

If it seems like the entire world has turned against you including everyone’s dog, cat and guinea pig, free yourself from that heavy burden by turning to God who loves you without conditions. From this moment, live in the glow of this reciprocal glorying in which your life is spent glorifying Him in every way. In return, He brings His glory to you by affirming you as His and giving you the best purposes ever. Embrace that. And sleep well.

“…THERE IS NO LAW.”

There is no law? Yikes! That’ll leave a mark. Without law, the world descends into a constant Black Friday frenzy at WalMart.
Yet, in Galatians 5:22-23, the Bible declares no law exists if certain conditions are met: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”
